What someone takes away from an experience is often deeply personal, and more often than not, takes some time to fully comprehend. When two artists share the same experience, the takeaway can be night and day. In the winter of 2024 Peter Solow and Scott Sandell traveled to Florence together, and although both had been there before, their impressions, memories, and the artwork that followed is a study in joyful contrast.

This exhibition consists of each artist's singular vision of Florence, and celebrates a city that has inspired creativity for hundreds of years.
