Charts and Maps emerged from an uncomfortable moment in history when whatever was to happen tomorrow would be absolutely unexpected (perhaps not unlike today). All works from the series are 60" x 40", and are collages built from maps, monoprints, and photographs printed on traditional printmaking papers. Individual elements were painted, drawn over, and then cut to shape. Now, a few years away from their inception, they are obviously time stamps that record a fragment of history. There are eighteen works in the series.
