It has been an honor (and tremendous fun) to design the labels for Roanoke Vineyards since 2000. As a printmaker, the idea that a specific work can be seen in multiple locations at the same time is a rush. Then consider the vineyard releases over 4000 cases annually (48,000 bottles), so on any given night there are @ 131 exhibitions on dinner tables around the world. You might say that's intoxicating!

Images for the labels are extensions of The Sea of Uncertainty series, largely a blend of painting and photography.

It's also been my pleasure to be involved in the vineyard and winemaking. That said, after twenty five vintages I remain a rookie.
